A family profile or birth mother letter is a way to introduce yourself to prospective birth parents.  The profiles are distributed to birth parents as a way for them to select the adoptive family that is right for their child.

This is your chance to express your feelings about adoption, the birth parents and why you want to adopt.  We suggest you mention hobbies, religion and family support as some of your topics.  The profile should also include a photo collage of you and your family. We suggest snapshots of you doing what you enjoy in your free time, such as, you at home, on vacation, or at family events.
